About First Aid Alive

First Aid Alive is a registered training organisation issuing Statements of Attainment
in Workplace First Aid. The Statement of Attainment is recognised within the Australian
Qualifications Framework (National Provider number 31106).
A Brisbane based company, operational since 2002; First Aid Alive has been offering
quality first aid training to Queensland companies and individual clients. With
an extensive client base, ranging from schools, sporting associations, building
industries, childcare centres, security companies, hospitals, nursing homes, universities
to individual clients, First Aid Alive offers flexible learning at a time and location
to accommodate the needs of the client.
Games, role plays, videos, powerpoint presentations, Mix and Match Booklets, accident
scenarios and demonstrations, are some of the resources that play a vital role in
keeping first aid training real. First Aid Alive has highly qualified, experienced
facilitators who deliver interactive, scenario based learning that makes learning
easy to remember and enjoyable.
In accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council’s new and revised resuscitation
guidelines, released in February 2006, First Aid Alive has embraced new procedures
and has introduced updated teaching materials.
Professional development is an integral element of training, allowing both facilitators
and participants to be up to date with the latest ideas and procedures in the industry.
Recently, First Aid Alive delegates attended the European Resuscitation Council
in Norway and the Australian Resuscitation Council, Queensland Conference, reviewing
scientific evidence for new procedures and the reason for change.
